Preparations for holding the middle school certificate (BEM) and baccalaureate (BAC) examinations are completed in Tizi Ouzou. The lists of candidates for the two exams are drawn up and the material and human conditions to ensure that they meet the required standards are decided and met.
Concerning the BEM, the tests of which will take place from June 3 to 5, 2024, according to the relevant services of the education directorate of the wilaya, the number of candidates selected is 18,151 of which 270 are registered as free candidates and 62 others from of the prison establishment (re-education establishment). So, 17,819 as educated candidates.
The exams will take place in 67 centers on the territory of the wilaya. The correction of copies, according to the established schedule, will begin on 06/11/2024 and will take place in three centers, namely the CEM Dardar, located in the city center of Tizi Ouzou, the CEM Lazib Ahmed 1 and the Lycée de Boukhalfa. Regarding the baccalaureate exam, the tests of which will take place from June 9 to 13, 2024, the number of candidates selected is 19,933 including 5,156 as independent candidates. The tests will take place in 69 centers.
And according to the communication service of the wilaya’s education directorate, this year, all candidates are affected by the Tamazight language tests with the exception of those who came from other wilayas and who do not have not studied this language in their respective establishments.
Regarding the correction and grades of the copies, the operation will begin on June 28, 2024 and will take place in three centers, namely the Fathma N’Soumeur high school, the 20-Août high school (capital of the wilaya) and Chihani High School in Azazga. Finally, note that security measures specific to these two examinations are also adopted by local authorities.
