The mock exams for the Brevet d’enseignement medium (BEM) and the baccalaureate begin this Sunday, at the level of student education establishments, across the national territory. Baccalaureate candidates are put under the same conditions of the official exam, in order to prepare them for D-day.
A month separates us from the dates of the official exams, scheduled from June 3 for the BEM and June 9 for the bac. And to best prepare for these national exams, students enrolled in 3e secondary year and in 4e middle year are called upon to begin, from this Sunday, the mock exams, which are of great importance insofar as this session remains a good preparation before the D-day. The students of 5e primary year should focus, for their part, on the prior learning assessment exam, which will take place over three days.
It should be noted that the subjects of the mock exams are not unified on a national scale, but all the students concerned by the mock exam will, in fact, begin the tests this morning, with the same timetable to follow. for each sector. They will start with the Arabic language, before competing in the afternoon in Islamic sciences.
To ensure the smooth running of these exams, an adequate system to guarantee their success is put in place. All educational, human and material resources are made available to candidates. The mock exams should continue throughout the week, with a seven-day break, benefiting high school students from other levels called upon to begin compositions next Sunday.
Parents, for their part, are called upon to keep their children away from stress and offer them an adequate environment to reassure them, insist the educators, who remind each year of the obligation to take this mock exam, which should allow students to prepare official examinations to identify their deficiencies and correct them.
As a reminder, the staff designated to develop the questions and ensure the final and careful reading of the subjects is made up of more than 131 members.
As a reminder, the minister had put forward the figure of more than a million and a half candidates for these official exams, including 862,733 for the baccalaureate. He had announced a series of measures aimed at guaranteeing the smooth running of the tests and offering fair examination conditions to all candidates.
It should be remembered that the withdrawal of summons is still continuing. Baccalaureate candidates, some of whom began to withdraw their invitations from May 9, will have until June 13 to easily obtain the precious document. The operation to withdraw invitations began on May 5 for candidates for the BEM exam and will continue until June 5, 2024.
