2024 presidential elections:

The exceptional revision of the electoral lists began yesterday, Wednesday, June 12, and will last until June 27, 2024, in anticipation of the early Presidential election on September 7.
This exceptional revision of the electoral lists will be supervised by the Independent National Electoral Authority (Anie), which is responsible, under the terms of article 53 of the organic law relating to the electoral regime, for “keeping, in accordance with the legislation in force, a national voter register, made up of all the electoral lists of municipalities and diplomatic and consular posts.
The operation concerns the 1,541 municipalities in the country as well as consular representations abroad to allow members of the national community established abroad to participate in the next electoral meeting.
In a statement to Channel III of Algerian Radio, the constitutionalist,
Mr. Kamel Filali believes that the next electoral deadline “has an exceptional character”, recalling, at the same time, the “duty of each citizen to register on these lists in order to participate in the construction and development of the country” .
