Presidential decree establishing the President of the Republic’s prize for the best exporter

The Presidential Decree establishing the President of the Republic’s prize for the best exporter has just been published in the latest issue of the Official Journal (JO), to honor economic operators, in recognition of their efforts and their contribution to the diversification and development of Algerian exports other than hydrocarbons.
The prize consists, according to Presidential Decree 24-202 published in No. 45 of the Official Journal, of the award of a commemorative shield and a certificate of merit awarded each year to the best exporter representing the following categories: exporters of industrial and pharmaceutical products, exporters of agricultural products, exporters of services and exporters to the African continent, as well as the youngest exporter and women exporters.
This prize is awarded each year on the basis of the following criteria: export turnover of the previous year, the number of destination countries, the number of workers reserved for export activity and the average growth in export sales compared to the previous year.
