Dozens of Zionist settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied city of Al-Quds on Wednesday, under the protection of the Zionist occupation police, the Palestinian news agency Wafa reported. The settlers led provocative marches in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and performed Talmudic rituals in courtyards, Wafa said. For its part, the Zionist occupation police stepped up its military procedures in the old city of Al-Quds and deployed its elements at the gates of Al-Aqsa while imposing restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers.
The third holiest site in Islam, the Al-Aqsa Mosque suffers daily acts of desecration by Zionist settlers and police agents.
These acts aim to Judaize the city of El-Quds, impose a new reality and change the cultural identity of the holy city.
