Des mesures pour un été sans délestage – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Electricity and Gas Distribution Directorate (DDEG) of Tizi Ouzou wants its customers to have a summer without power cuts or, failing that, a cut of as short a duration as possible.

It is with this in mind that this company has decided to take measures that it considers fair and appropriate.

Among these measures, according to the DDEG’s communications department, there is first an investment of 715 million dinars; an amount intended to finance operations guaranteeing the electricity network. Then comes the mobilization of no less than 509 agents; mobilization, which falls within the framework of what is called “the reinforcement of on-call duty”, and finally the requisition of 152 subcontracting companies.

Still within the framework of the operation to strengthen the electricity network, the DDEG put into service a mobile cabin in El-Mersa, in the commune of Tizi Ghnif, which has a power of 20 MVA, with the aim of relieving the 60/30 KV source station of Tizi Medden (Tizi Ghnif).

In the commune of Fréha, the operation of the engineers of this company specializing in electricity and gas involved the installation of a new injector with a capacity of 220/60 at the source station, which is 60/30 KV.

The DDEG communication unit, in its press release, declared: “Our 30 KV network is remotely controlled thanks to the micro-SCADA system, which allows remote intervention, monitoring of incidents and carrying out initial maneuvers, by acting on the remotely controlled overhead cut-off devices.”

The document states that, thanks to these first maneuvers, the cuts can be repaired in a very short period of time.
