Several political parties and national organizations displayed, the day before yesterday Saturday, their support for the candidacy of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the presidential election of September 7, in addition to the members of “the coalition of majority parties for Algeria” who affirmed, the day before yesterday Saturday, their “commitment to mobilize all their activists and voters around the candidate Abdelmadjid Tebboune, at all stages of the electoral process, from the collection of signatures to the animation of the electoral campaign”, reaffirming their choice to be “partners of the State and its institutions for the completion of the development process”.
In the final communiqué sanctioning the work of the national conference of this coalition, the political parties that compose it, namely the National Liberation Front (FLN), the National Democratic Rally (RND) and the El Moustakbal Front, specified that the decision of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to run for a second term “came in response to the call of the homeland and that of large sections of society”, emphasizing their “determination to contribute to the success of the presidential election and the electoral campaign and to sensitize the electorate to the importance of voting during this deadline”. For these parties, it is a question of preserving the achievements and continuing the process of construction and reforms. The El-Islah Movement reaffirmed, in a statement, its support for the candidacy of the President of the Republic for the presidential election of September 7, committing to “mobilize the necessary popular support in favor of his candidacy because he represents the right choice to realize the aspirations of Algerians within the framework of a real project of renaissance in all areas.”
For its part, the Tajamoue Amel El Djazair (TAJ) party expressed, through its president Fatima-Zohra Zerouati, its “support for the candidacy of the President of the Republic, who assumed a heavy responsibility in 2019, and who deserves to be supported today to continue the development process and complete the project of building a new Algeria.”
The president of the Sawt Echaab party, Lamine Osmani, noted that “support for the candidacy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is part of our firm conviction regarding the necessary completion of the various reform projects that he has undertaken.” This is also the case for the Algerian Societal Pole, the Algerian Youth Academy and the Algerian National Youth Union (UNAJ) which are determined to support the candidacy of President Tebboune.
