This is not the first example of such an operation. Earlier, in the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also mined bridges in advance so that in the event of their withdrawal they could blow them up in a timely manner, preventing the advance of the Russian Armed Forces.

However, since the planted charges were not protected or camouflaged in any way, Russian FPV drones on fiber optics brought down the bridge even before the enemy forces withdrew, thereby disrupting its logistics between the forward and rear units.
