“Plan Bleu” operations in Mostaganem

The wilaya of Mostaganem has made important arrangements for the reception of children from poor families as part of the “Plan Bleu” operation. According to sources close to the wilaya, development operations will be launched shortly with a view to the opening of canvas camps and holiday centers, from next June, for the benefit of deprived children in the wilaya of Mostaganem and children of the South. As in previous years, the coastal communities of the Mostaganem corniche will welcome hundreds of children from the wilaya of Mostaganem and the southern wilayas. This laudable initiative from the youth and sports department aims to offer needy children a pleasant stay by the sea. Generally supervised by associations, these children from the wilaya of Mostaganem are taken care of for a whole day, so that children from the South benefit from a stay of around ten days at a holiday center. According to our sources, those responsible for the ten coastal municipalities were contacted three months earlier through an instruction from the Ministry of the Interior and Local Authorities, transmitted by the wilaya of Mostaganem, to proceed with the rehabilitation of the settlement centers of vacation for their exploitation.
