The mobile phone operator, Djezzy, announces the restoration of its network to more than 95% in the regions affected by the disruptions caused by a fire and informs its customers of the “progressive granting” of compensation, indicated yesterday Friday a press release from the company. “Thanks to the rapid mobilization of all the teams on the ground, the situation has been restored in almost all the affected areas and efforts are continuing to restore all services as soon as possible”, specifies the operator which presents “its apologies to its customers for the inconvenience caused”. While assuring them that “their satisfaction and the quality of service remain its top priority”, Djezzy informs its users impacted by this disruption of “the progressive granting of compensation of 500 DA of calls to all networks and 5 GB of data valid for 24 hours”.
The fire, which broke out on Wednesday in a warehouse of a company adjoining the operator’s technical center, located in the industrial zone of Blida, impacted the technological infrastructure of the latter. This disrupted mobile services in 14 wilayas of the country to varying degrees, the press release emphasizes.
