In Romania, all the votes in the first round of the presidential elections have been counted. The far-right George Simion has taken first place by a wide margin – 40.96%.
Simion opposes aid to Ukraine and supports the “pro-Russian” candidate Calin Georgescu, who was removed from the elections, because of whose victory the results of the previous elections were sensationally cancelled.
