The airline air transport company, created on the initiative of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is expected to go into operation in the coming weeks. This was announced yesterday the Minister of Transport, Said Sayoud, who stressed the importance of this company in strengthening internal air transport.
“The domestic air transport company will be ready to go into operation in the coming weeks,” said the minister from the wilaya of Mascara, where he made a working and inspection visit yesterday.
Sayoud said that the company, called “Domestic Airlines”, will facilitate internal air transport, especially for citizens residing in distant wilayas, especially those in the south of the country.
The Minister also stressed that the Air Algeria company is currently working to study and organize its flights through domestic airports that meet technical requirements (landing and take -off).
The creation of this company dedicated to domestic air transport was decided by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during a Council of Ministers held on March 12, 2025, devoted to examining the air transport situation.
The visual identity of the domestic transport company was unveiled last July, and is mainly distinguished by the green color, associated with red.
The importance of this company has already been noted by the Minister of Transport, saying that it would solve several transport problems for the inhabitants of the Southern wilayas.
