Faithful to its constant commitment to promoting sport and young Algerian talents, Ooredoo sealed an official partnership with the Mouloudia Club d’Oran (MCO) during a ceremony organized this Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the company’s central headquarters in Algiers.
The contract was signed jointly by the General Director of Ooredoo Algeria, Mr. Roni Tohme, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mouloudia Club d’Oran (MCO), Mr. Mohamed Hadjioui. Through this agreement, Ooredoo officially becomes the official sponsor of the Oran club, thus marking a new stage in its commitment to national sport.
On this occasion, Mr. Roni Tohme, General Director of Ooredoo Algeria, declared: “We are delighted to join forces with Mouloudia d’Oran (MCO), a large club with ambitions for excellence which embody values ​​of performance, passion, and perseverance that we deeply share. We are immensely proud to associate the image of Ooredoo with dynamic, young and ambitious groups. This approach to sporting support, which we are pursuing with conviction, will contribute not only to supporting our partners, but also to promoting the development of national sport in all its diversity. »
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Hadjioui, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mouloudia Club d’Oran, declared: “We are very proud to have with us such a solid and prestigious partner as Ooredoo through a sponsorship agreement, which consolidates the structural and sporting foundations of our club. Together, the MCO and Ooredoo will work with determination to promote this club and its legendary history and raise, with pride, its colors at the highest level of national and continental football. »
Mouloudia Club d’Oran (MCO), is one of the most emblematic and historic clubs in Algerian football. With a prestigious track record, the MCO has four Algerian championships (1971, 1988, 1992, 1993), four Algerian Cups (1975, 1984, 1985 and 1996), an Algerian League Cup in 1996, two Arab titles won in 1997, 1998, and an Arab Super Cup in 1999.n
