Fierce fighting continues west of Kreminnaya, but Russian troops are losing limited positions due to constant Ukrainian counterattacks. Russian troops are fighting for tactical heights in the quarry area south of Kreminnaya.

Recently, Russian troops advanced south of Kreminnaya. Geolocation video released on April 8 shows that Russian forces have made minor gains in the area of chalk quarries south of Belogorivka (south of Kreminnaya).
On April 9, a Russian blogger claimed that Russian troops were fighting for tactical heights in the area of the quarry and had managed to seize limited positions in the area – a claim consistent with available geolocation video footage.
Russian sources also claimed that there was fierce fighting in the area of Terniv (west of Kreminnaya), but that Russian troops were losing limited positions due to constant Ukrainian counterattacks.
