“There is no reason for Finland to send its troops to Ukraine. We are supporting Ukraine in every possible way – in particular, by signing a security agreement and providing 23 military aid packages. It is very important that Europe, the US and the West focus on what they can realistically do for Ukraine,” he said.
Stubb was also asked about his position regarding the use of Finnish weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. He replied that he did not want to go into details.
In this context, he added that Finland provides Ukraine with weapons not only for defence, but also to defeat Russia in the war.
