Following a flight over the Gaza Strip and the northern border in a fighter jet, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared that negotiations with Hamas regarding hostages would “only be conducted under fire.”

“The strikes and the visible plumes of smoke from IDF attacks are evident both in the Gaza Strip and the north,” Gallant stated after being flown by the IAF’s 133rd Squadron over Gaza and the Lebanon border in an F-15 jet.

“We are in a process where we will continue to wear down the enemy. Any negotiations with the Hamas terror organization will only be conducted under fire,” he added.
