The Médéa Civil Protection Directorate is hosting a training session at its specialized unit in Ouzera for officers of this corps, running from June 2 to July 13, devoted to themes relating to intervention techniques in dangerous environments. . The session was kicked off by Commander Larabi Said, director of Civil Protection for the wilaya of Médéa.
The training session aims to “raise the capabilities of intervention groups in dangerous environments”, in accordance with the national level 2 training program drawn up by the General Directorate of Civil Protection (DGPC) for the benefit of reconnaissance teams. and relief in rugged terrain for the benefit of executives from several wilayas in the country.
In the press release made public by its communications unit, the Directorate of Civil Protection of Médéa indicated that the training session entitled IMP2, the second of its kind, welcomes officers from the wilayas of Médéa, Sidi Bel Abbès, Boumerdès, Tébessa , Constantine, Souk Ahras, M’Sila and Béjaïa.
Comprising a theoretical component and a practical component, the training session will address points relating to recognition and rescue in natural and difficult environments considered dangerous for other Civil Protection teams.
The specialized unit of Ouzera (7 km east of the wilaya capital), which has a climbing team operating in dangerous, mountain environments and in road rescue, also has a diving team equipped with all means of intervention in particular: waterproof cameras, medical team, and a dog technical team.
