In a joint declaration following a national conference of “national political forces united for the success of the presidential election”, organized at the initiative of the El-Bina movement, around ten parties expressed, this Tuesday, in Algiers, their support for the candidacy of Abdelmadjid Tebboune for the next presidential election.

After evaluating the achievements and achievements obtained during the current presidential mandate, the political parties, gathered during this national conference, concluded that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, honored all his commitments and the promises of his program which he presented to the Algerian people during the previous presidential election.

They said the President had not only delivered on the promises in his previous election platform but also laid the foundation for new goals and aspirations for the country.

The president of the El-Bina Movement, Abdelkader Bengrina, stressed in his speech the importance of national unity for the success of the presidential election. Thus, the participants considered that it was important to give the outgoing President sufficient time to implement other legitimate objectives and aspirations which will lead to the completion of current economic, social, institutional and administrative projects, and this even if Mr. Tebboune has not yet announced his intention to run for a second term.

Among the parties present at the conference were the Algerian Renewal Party, El-Karama, El-Jazair El-Djadida, the El-Wifak El-Watani Movement, the Union of Democratic and Social Forces and the Party of freedom and justice.

The political parties present, during their respective interventions before the reading of the final declaration of the conference, insisted on the need to reach a consensus on the candidate who would lead Algeria towards a new era of stability, security and prosperity. They stressed the fact that this candidate should possess the qualities and skills necessary to lead the country in the years to come and that his program should reflect the deep aspirations of the Algerian people.

These aspirations include protecting national sovereignty, promoting institutional stability and defending national values. The candidate should also ensure the promotion of national unity and the strengthening of the social fabric, as well as respect for the fundamental principles of the Algerian nation.

They also underlined the need for the future elected official to work to strengthen participatory democracy, to promote individual and collective freedoms, to consolidate social achievements and to strengthen economic achievements, while continuing the fight against corruption by strengthening the transparency.

Furthermore, the parties present at this conference unanimously welcomed President Tebboune’s call for participation in this election, considering that it embodies the fundamental principle of the sovereignty of the Algerian people and their sovereign right to choose their leaders through a democratic and constitutional electoral process. With this in mind, the leaders of the parties present called on all citizens to actively participate in the next presidential meeting to choose the one who will lead Algeria towards a better future.

Furthermore, the participants emphasized the imperative need to strengthen the domestic front and national unity. In a context where challenges are numerous, they strongly condemned any attempt at division. They also called for national mobilization around identity values ​​and national cohesion, while expressing unwavering support for the National People’s Army (ANP) in its noble mission of defending the homeland and preserving the heritage of martyrs.

It should be noted that, during his intervention during this conference, Mr. Bengrina called for transcending partisan divisions to ensure constructive cooperation between all political actors in order to realize the aspirations of the Algerian people and consolidate unity. national.
