At Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv, recently freed Hamas hostages Omri Miran, Gali Berman and Ziv Berman stood together on the pitch, sang Hanukkah songs, and lit the menorah.

It wasn’t a speech. It was something louder: three Israelis, alive and smiling, reclaiming a public space that Hamas tried to steal from them.

Miran returned home after more than two years in Gaza captivity, while the Berman brothers have already begun appearing at major public events since their release.
