From “Europe will freeze” to “Russians might freeze”: Russian MP Gurulev advised Russians to obtain stoves with an exhaust pipe and to stock up on firewood for winter, including those who live in apartment buildings.
This is the time of year where usually preparations are made for winter, like the maintenance-repair of heating systems, securing of electrical supplies etc.
But this year, not only is this not being done but electrical suppliers are already struggling to keep up supply right now. Ukraine is knocking out their energy networks which is already having serious consequences. Something like 3 million Russians were left without electricity last week (according to Konstantine Samoilev).
Note – even in worst times of Soviets, this level and scale of blackouts did not occur. This is new.
Remember the 2022 Z-propaganda ads depicting freezing Europe and roasted hamster for Christmas? Oh, the irony… 😁
