Goudjil signe le registre de condoléances – Le Jeune Indépendant


Charged by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the President of the Council of the Nation, Salah Goudjil signed, Thursday at the headquarters of the Iranian embassy in Algiers, the register of condolences following the death of the Iranian President, Ebrahim Raïssi, his Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their companions.

“It is with great sadness and deep sorrow that we learned of the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a brother country, Ebrahim Raïssi, of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and of their companions in a helicopter crash,” Mr. Goudjil wrote in the condolence register.

“In this painful ordeal which has struck the brotherly Iranian people, I address to you, on behalf of the President of the Republic, and on behalf of the Government and the Algerian people, my sincere condolences and assure you of my compassion and solidarity, praying Almighty God to grant the deceased His holy mercy, to welcome them into His vast paradise, and to lend their loved ones patience and comfort,” he continued.

“With the death of Mr. Raisi, Iran loses an eminent personality and a seasoned leader. History will remember his immeasurable efforts in the service of the brotherly Iranian people, in addition to the entire Muslim nation which will hardly forget his preponderant role and his great contribution to the Palestinian cause, for which he mobilized international support. , he added.

Referring to the late president’s last visit to Algeria, Mr. Goudjil indicated that “the Algerians will not be able to forget the late president’s attachment, since his arrival to power, to the consolidation and promotion of bilateral cooperation between Algeria and Iran”, affirming that “the memory of his last official visit to Algeria will constitute a stopover in the journey of strengthening historical relations between our two brotherly countries”.
