
🇻🇪❌🇬🇾 — Guyanese Police arrested a Venezuelan man suspected of being the the main figure behind a terrorist attack in Guyana against a Mobil gas station in Georgetown.
➡️ Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo — the main suspect linked to the deadly explosion on Sunday night at the Mobil Gas Station in Georgetown, Guyana, has been captured by Police
Police say Daniel Alexander Ramirez Peodomo came from Venezuela, entering Guyana illegally via boat, around 8:00 AM on the day of the attack, accompanied by an accomplice and carrying explosives.
Reports state that Peodomo has confessed to the bombing, while several other individuals are being questioned. Police are working with INTERPOL and regional security partners to determine whether the suspect was linked to a larger network or acted alone.
➡️ Acting on intelligence, a team of Officers went to Vergenoegen Sideline Dam, East Bank Essequibo, earlier today (Tuesday 28th October, 2025), where they arrested Peodomo, described by investigators as a Spanish-speaking foreign national. He is currently in Police custody, assisting with the ongoing investigation.
