IDF: Eliminating terrorists, operating from the air and ground and locating and destroying terrorist infrastructure: operations of the Nahal Brigade combat team in the Gaza Strip
The 162nd Division, led by the soldiers of the Nahal Brigade combat team, continues to operate in the Netzarim Corridor that separates the northern and southern Gaza Strip, conducting targeted operations on terrorist infrastructure in the area.
In recent days, the soldiers eliminated terrorists in encounters and proactive ambushes with the cooperation of the Brigade’s Fire Control Center. In addition, the soldiers located and destroyed an anti-tank missile launch post, a mortar launch post that was used to fire towards Israel, a tunnel shaft and terrorist structures that Hamas used against the soldiers.
In one incident, the Brigade’s Fire Control Center detected a terrorist who conducted a rocket and mortar attack on the soldiers, and in a short time the soldiers acted and the terrorist was eliminated by an aircraft.
