IDF: The IDF destroyed the launch posts in Rafah that fired toward Be’er Sheva
Earlier today, five launches were identified crossing from central Gaza toward the area of Be’er Sheva. Throughout this evening, nine additional launches were identified crossing from the area of Rafah toward the Be’er Sheva area and fell in open areas.
Shortly afterward, IDF troops located the two launch posts in the Rafah area from which the launches were fired. An IAF aircraft struck the launch posts.
Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified near the launch, suggesting the presence of additional weaponry that was ready for launch against Israel.
The locations of the launch posts further show how Hamas intentionally embeds itself in close proximity to civilian population and infrastructure throughout the Gaza Strip.
