🔥🚢 In Russia, a fire broke out on the multifunctional supply ship “Catherine the Great” in Primorye.
The press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation reported that a fire broke out on a ship at the Dalzavod Ship Repair Center last night, and the fire was extinguished.
According to reports one person died, and 3 more people were taken to the hospital.
What caused the fire on the ship is not known for sure, the circumstances of the event are being investigated.
According to information from open sources, the multi-purpose supply ship “Kateryna Velikaya” of reinforced ice class Icebreaker 7 was considered the main one in a series of four ships for the oil company “Rosneft”.
Imo, it’s a really weird design malfunction, it doesn’t relate to a nautical vessel .
