A new branch of the National Bank of Algeria (BNA) was inaugurated in the wilaya of In-Salah, as part of its strategy to strengthen its network on the national territory and support investment projects, we learned from this institution on Friday. Speaking during the inauguration and commissioning ceremony of this new agency, the Director General of the BNA, Samir Tamrabet, accompanied by local authorities, underlined that the BNA is committed to covering the entire national territory in order to ensure quality banking services to citizens and to support public and private investment. He added that the BNA planned to soon open another agency dedicated to Islamic financing in In-Salah. The head of the local executive, Abdelkader Bendjima, for his part, described this new agency, the fourth of its kind in In-Salah, as a qualitative contribution for the wilaya, specifying that banks are civic institutions called upon to contribute to socio-economic development and to best meet the expectations of citizens. Mr. Bendjima, on this occasion, welcomed the strengthening of the banking network in the wilaya, highlighting the commitment of his services to providing banks with the necessary administrative support and support.n
