The Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, Mohamed Arkab, head of a large delegation, composed of the CEO of Sonatrach, Rachid Hachichi, executives of the group and the secretary general (SG) of the National Federation of Oil, Gas and Chemistry Workers (FNTPGC), Hamou Touahria, In the Tin Fouyé Tabankort (TFT) production region, in Illizi where he inaugurated and inspections of the key sites, said a statement from the ministry. During this trip as part of the monitoring of development and energy infrastructure projects in the region, the delegation has started its visit by the inauguration of a new Regional of in Amenas, falling under the activity of transport by pipeline, with a capacity of 126 workers, including rooms, a canteen, leisure areas and other structures carried out with current standards, to ensure comfort and well-being for workers and improve their conditions.
Then this delegation went to the regional department of the TFT production department, falling under the exploration and production activity. On the scene, noted the same source, the delegation followed an exhaustive technical presentation on the management and development of zones, as well as on the progress of production operations at the TFT field, which constitutes one of the strategic axes of the national hydrocarbon production system.
“The field has 23 separation centers, 4 storage and shipping centers, 1 associated gas treatment unit, 1 power plant, 1 water production and water injection centers, as well as vital structures, with a production capacity of 54,000 barrels/crude oil, and 5.2 million cubic meters of associated gas, including 2.4 million cubic meters/ the same source. The delegation then went to the Ain T’Sila gas development field, in the Illizi basin, where the minister proceeded, in the company of Rachid Hachichi, to the inauguration of the gas treatment complex, comprising two chains with a total treatment capacity of 12 million cubic meters per day of gas, 1,800 tonnes per day of condensates, 1,600 tonnes per day of liquid gas (LPG), as well as a product of electricity producton with a capacity of 125 megawatts and 355 km of gas pipelines, as well as a new base of life in Ain Tsila with a capacity of 220 workers, carried out by the National Civil Engineering and Building Society (GCB), a subsidiary of Sonatrach.
The delegation, added the same source, also received detailed technical explanations on the gas treatment complex.
Finally, the Minister of Energy and the CEO of the Sonatrach group made the inauguration of an airport in TFT, which represents an additional milestone in the energy and logistics infrastructure of the region, concluded the same source.
Finding that this installation was designed according to modern standards to offer the best reception and guidance conditions and quality services to travelers, guaranteeing a comfortable and safe working environment, as it will help improve the mobility of workers, operators and partners, as well as to strengthen local development.
