The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion announced, this Monday, the opening of registrations for national exporting companies and companies wishing to participate in the 36th edition of the Dakar International Fair (FIDAK), scheduled from December 7 to 31, 2025 in the Senegalese capital.
Algeria’s participation in this important economic event is part of efforts to strengthen the country’s commercial presence in West Africa, and to take advantage of Senegal’s strategic positioning as a regional hub for trade and investment, the ministry said in a press release. This initiative aims to open new perspectives for Algerian economic operators, allowing them to expand their partnerships and access new African markets.
The ministry invited Algerian companies to register and take part in this major economic meeting, particularly those active in the sectors of the agri-food industry, construction materials and equipment, renewable energies, as well as services and consulting.
The authority specified that the deadline for registration at FIDAK, which will be held at the International Foreign Trade Center of Senegal (CICES), is set for November 5, 2025. To register or obtain more information, operators can contact the relevant services of the ministry.
