Israeli media sources claim that Hamas will announce within the next day their approval of the Israeli hostage deal which will include a 6-week ceasefire and the release of hundreds of Arab terrorists from jail, in exchange for the release of 33 hostages being held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

If agreed upon it would mark a Hamas decision to drop the original demand for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, in exchange for U.S. guarantees that the IDF will completely withdraw from the Gaza Strip when the war ends.
