The amphitheater of the Abdelhamid Ben Badis University of Mostaganem hosted this Thursday, an awareness day on ministerial decree 008 (which updates decree 1275) took place at the Abdelmadjid Ben Badis University of Mostaganem on November 13, 2025.
The event aimed to provide information on the decree relating to the modalities of preparation of an end-of-studies project under the status of “diploma-startup” also to explain the mechanisms of this new system. Indeed, the University of Mostaganem hosted an awareness day aimed at students and stakeholders in the university community, focused on ministerial decree 1275 relating to emerging companies and intellectual property. The rector of the university explained during his opening speech the importance that the supervision attributes to this new innovative vision in order to embody the meaning of partnership and sustainable economic development to students, and he also explained in detail Ministerial Decision No. 1275 and how to take advantage of it in the creation of start-ups and micro-enterprises, and the registration of patents and how students can carry out their own projects. The organization of this day is part of the University’s efforts to support innovation and encourage students to carry out their own projects. This event is specially designed for students from the faculties of economic and commercial sciences, management sciences, law and political sciences, faculties of medicine, humanities and social sciences and letters and languages. This awareness day, open to all stakeholders in the university community, is particularly aimed at final-year students and teachers. They are part of the efforts of the University of Mostaganem to implement the policy of the higher education and scientific research sector, which seeks to promote the work and projects carried out by students through the mechanism of “Certification – Emerging Company” or “Certificate – Patent of Invention” in accordance with Ministerial Decree No. 1275 of September 27, 2022.
