Karim Benzema en visite à Béjaïa – Le Jeune Indépendant


The French star of world football, and of Algerian origin, Karim Benzema was on a family visit this Saturday in Béjaïa.

He was welcomed on his arrival at Soummam airport in Béjaïa by the chief of staff of the wilaya before being received by the wali and the minister of training and vocational education who was also making a working visit in the wilaya. The 2022 Ballon d’Or informed the press that he had to see his family in Béni-Djéllil and that he intended to attend the match between the Greens and the Guinea national team on the 6th of the month by running to Nelson-Mandela stadium in Baraki in the capital. The former Madrilenian striker who plays for Ittihad of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, had to go to the native village of his father Tighzert, commune of Béni-Djéllil and then to the West of the country, more precisely to Oran, city birthplace of his mother.
