Kharkiv oblast will implement projects to rebuild and strengthen its defense capabilities together with German partners.
The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration explained, that this was discussed during a meeting between the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Martin Jäger.
Germany is currently participating in the restoration of one of the leading educational institutions in Kharkiv oblast, which was damaged as a result of a russian missile attack. Work is underway to resume offline learning in the institution this fall.
“We are grateful to the Federal Republic of Germany for its continued support of Kharkiv region. The Ambassador noted the effectiveness of Kharkiv region in restoring critical energy infrastructure and expressed further support in this matter. In general, they discussed promising projects and plans that involve attracting aid and investment for the reconstruction of Kharkiv. In particular, a specific strengthening of defense capabilities. Thank you for your assistance and joint work for the development of Kharkiv region and Ukraine,” Syniehubov said.
They also discussed the restoration of destroyed energy facilities and their protection, preparation for the winter season, taking into account the decentralized model of energy supply, etc.
