The Ministry of Industry announced on Thursday in a press release, the extension of registrations for the national campaign for the mobilization of Algerian skills in the automotive industry and the manufacture of spare parts, until August 21, 2025. This decision comes in response to the strong enthusiasm aroused by the initiative.
The objective of this extension is to give the possibility to all Algerian experts, whether installed in Algeria or abroad, to contribute to this strategic project for the creation of a national council for the automotive sector, specifies the ministerial department of Sifi Ghrieb.
While thanking the experts, engineers and technicians already registered, the Ministry of Industry has called qualified skills that have not yet registered, due to the expiration of the period initially planned, but who wish to do so, to take advantage of this additional period to register via the dedicated digital platform https://www.industrie.gov.dz/plateform-mi/ar/.
This campaign launched under the slogan “with Algerian skills, we are building a real mechanical industry”, aims to mobilize Algerian skills (experts, engineers and technicians) inside the country and abroad for the creation of a national expertise council in the automotive industry and the manufacture of spare parts, it is recalled.
The National Council for the Automobile Sector that the Ministry intends to set up will be responsible for developing the national repository in terms of industrial integration, which will be used “as a reference framework defining the technical and regulatory bases for an efficient and integrated industrial ecosystem”, according to the explanations provided.
This approach comes in completion of the participatory process launched by the Ministry of Industry, through consultation meetings with various players in the automotive industry and spare parts, having led to the creation of specialized working groups and the development of strategic recommendations defining the technical and regulatory bases necessary for the development of a competitive national industry and the strengthening of industrial integration, according to the same source.
