Ms. Nozipho Hlophe, of the regional service center of the United Nations Development Program, (UNDP) for Africa posted, the day before yesterday, the will of the regional UNDP regional service center to support micro-enterprises by strengthening their capacity to adapt to economic challenges and changes and by providing them with the necessary expertise to allow them to develop.
“The UNDP shares its expertise in Africa in various development contexts,” she told the APS. Rejoicing the success of the 4th edition of the intra-African trade fair (IATF 2025) held at the Palais des Expositions des Pins Maritimes (Algiers), from the 4th to 10 of the current month, Ms. Nozipho Hlophe, on the occasion, welcomed the role of Algeria in favor of regional integration and the realization of the dream of creating a unique African market. Highlighting Algeria’s efforts, alongside the African Export Bank (Afreximbank), the African Union Commission and the Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade area (ZLECAF), to, she continued, developing economic relations between the countries of the continent and strengthening the commercial partnership for the benefit of all the parties. Algeria has always campaigned for the emancipation of African countries and their independence. Using his diplomacy to bring the voice of Africa to the international scene, defending the sovereignty of states, the reform of international institutions for better African representativeness.
Based on the principles of non-interference, self-determination of peoples and intra-African inclusive dialogue, Algeria has continued, since its independence, to launch initiatives for conflict settlement, the restoration of security, the fight against terrorism and cross-border crime organized in terms of its neighborhood as well as in the continental scale.
The strategy adopted under the guidance of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is part of the continuity of these efforts, through a long -term vision in favor of African unity and the rapprochement between the countries of the continent. This vision is based on active solidarity, mutual support in the face of common challenges, but also and above all, a clear economic ambition. By initiating a new growth dynamic based on the internal capacities of Africa and carried by interafican trade.
