End of the run for the criminal Hicham El Wahrani:

It’s over, the said ”Hicham El Wahrani” will no longer be active (certainly for a long time), he is now in the hands of justice. This individual is behind several armed attacks, threats and kidnapping in Bou Ismaïl, in the wilaya of Tipaza. He was spotted and identified before he was arrested by the inhabitants of Oued El Fodda between Aïn Defla and Chlef.
After being identified, the residents of Oued El Fodda managed to control the suspect who tried to resist his arrest. The residents of Oued El-Fodda immediately called the National Gendarmerie. The latter, and after having taken all the regulatory and security measures relating to such situations, went to the scene and proceeded to the arrest of the individual in question. The said ”Hicham El Wahrani” decided to flee the town of Bou Ismaïl (Tipaza) after thousands of calls on social networks demanding his arrest. According to testimonies, the fugitive, despite his disguise, was spotted by a citizen of Oued El-Fodda. The man who recognized ”Hicham El Wahrani” spoke to the press indicating that he saw a man dressed in a hoodie get out of a car before heading towards the railway path in the Dahamnia region. “The suspicious behavior of this individual forced me to follow him and his face is not unknown,” he said.
“A few minutes later, I quickly “rewind” my memory, this individual looks like Hicham El Wahrani. I quickly called friends in the neighborhood who also recognized the suspect. When we apprehended the suspect, he tried to defend himself by using force and resisted in vain before he was overpowered by the crowd,” he said. The speaker explained that Hicham El Wahrani was handed over personally to elements of the National Gendarmerie who were alerted and went to the scene.

After the broadcast on social networks of a video showing the kidnapping and assault of a young person in the bedroom of an apartment, thousands of Internet users reported the recording in question to the various security services. The speakers on the pages of Facebook, Instagam, Tik-Tok and others took aim at the author of the attack, in this case Hicham El Wahrani. Other videos were also posted on social networks showing the individual in question at Bou Ismaïl attacking a man who was on the ground. “Look, he attacked a man again. What are you waiting for to stop him before he kills someone?” one young person shouted on the video.
Two days after these events, the perpetrator of these attacks was not arrested, he disappeared into the wild. Several Internet users asked themselves the following question: “Who helped Hicham El Wahrani”? The latter called on the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the high command of the National Gendarmerie to open an in-depth investigation in order to shed light on this matter.
“Without any complicity, the accused would never have left Bou Ismaïl so easily and would have been arrested on the same day that the video of the attack was posted on social networks.” As we go to press, we learn that Hicham El Wahrani was taken by elements of the gendarmerie to Sidi Bouabida hospital to undergo routine medical examinations. Once the medical procedures were completed, he was transferred to the Aïn Defla gendarmerie brigade. The arrest of Hicham El Wahrani does not mean that armed attacks and violence in the neighborhoods are over.
As we indicated previously on the phenomenon of terrorism, we must not rely only on “All security” to eliminate these scourges.
Terrorism was defeated on the ground by our valiant security forces but it still continues to rage.
In order to defeat these calamities, it consists of fighting them from their origins.
