On a working trip to the wilaya of Mascara, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Oualid El Mahdi Yacine announced, the day before yesterday Saturday, that the adoption of the mechanism for exercising economic activities within the framework of the self-entrepreneur formula, for the benefit of civil servants, will be ratified before the end of the current year.
This announcement made the day before yesterday by Oualid El Mahdi Yacine from Mascara, on the occasion of his working visit, took place at the headquarters of the ”Emir Khaled” Congress Center and during a meeting with young people with innovative projects and start-ups and entrepreneurs from the wilaya of Mascara, where the minister even announced “that an automatic study is currently underway to open the exercise of economic activities under the self-employed formula in favor of civil servants, which will be approved before the end of the current year,” he announced.
The minister indicated that this economic activity mechanism is part of an amendment to the Civil Service Law, which provides civil servants with the opportunity to carry out economic activity after working hours and to benefit from the advantages of the self-employed worker formula.
On the other hand, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises noted that as part of its Action Plan, his ministerial department will soon open entrepreneurship development centers at the level of national institutes specialized in vocational training in the country, as part of its efforts to broaden the scope of entrepreneurial training that will also affect trainees of these establishments.
During this meeting with young people with innovative projects and start-ups and entrepreneurs from the wilaya of Mascara, Oualid El Mahdi Yacine also reported on the launch, by his ministry before the end of the current year, of a digital platform on subcontracting.
The minister also announced the upcoming launch of the development of two spaces in the municipalities of Sig and Mascara to house start-ups, “this operation will be carried out in company with the wilaya authorities”, said the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Oualid El Mahdi Yacine.
The minister previously chaired the opening ceremony of the Regional Trade Fair for the marketing of products of beneficiaries of the micro-credit scheme, which is held for three days at the initiative of the General Directorate of the National Agency for Micro-Credit Management (Angem).
