The AGM adopts the annual report for the 2023 financial year

Sonatrach Group held its Ordinary General Meeting (OGM) last Saturday, during which the annual report for the 2023 financial year was presented and adopted, according to a company press release. The annual meeting of the OGM took place at the headquarters of Sonatrach’s General Management, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, with the participation of its members: the Minister of Finance, Laaziz Faid, the Governor of the Bank of Algeria, Salah Eddine Taleb, and the representative of the Presidency of the Republic, Faouzi Amokrane, in the presence of the CEO of the Sonatrach Group, Rachid Hachichi, according to the same source. The OGM, which was held in the presence of auditors, made it possible to verify Sonatrach’s financial accounts and its achievements across the entire value chain. The session also covered aspects related to prospecting and renewal of reserves, as well as other important issues related to the development of human resources and the progress of major projects, the statement added.
