Parliamentary day “Cohesion of the people with their Army”
Strengthening cohesion between the people and their army is the guarantee of the security and stability of the country, reaffirmed the participants in the parliamentary day organized, Wednesday in Algiers, by the National Defense Commission at the Popular Assembly national (APN), at the conference room of the wilaya of Algiers. “Cohesion of the people with their Army, strength and stability for the nation, Army-Nation link” was the theme of this parliamentary day inaugurated by the president of the APN, Brahim Boughali who affirmed that the consolidation of the Army-Nation relationship people had foiled several plots and conspiracies, through which the detracting enemies had wanted to attack the unity of Algeria, its security and its stability.
According to a press release from the Assembly, Brahim Boughali underlined, in his opening speech delivered in the presence of the Advisor to the President of the Republic in charge of non-governmental organizations and human rights, Hamid Lounaouci, that the New Algeria, “aware that the points of strength lie in national cohesion, collective consciousness and unity oriented towards edification, remains attached to its constants, proud of its history, its references and its glorious Revolution, under -stretched by the bases of liberation, emancipation, emancipation and human dignity”.
“The strengthening of national cohesion between the different components of society and the consolidation of the relationship between the Army and the people constitute weapons which have eliminated any opportunity for our detractors to reach us, foiled several plots and conspiracies through which the enemies tried to harm a country of which they did not yet realize the strength and extent of its sovereignty and its security, which protect it from their vile designs, thanks to the colossal sacrifices that successive generations have made. “have ceased to consent on this pure land for centuries,” he maintained.
The president of the APN highlighted the concern of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who never ceased to “underline the importance of this unparalleled cohesion, in the sense that he repeatedly recalled that the Army national popular is an integral part of the people, and that the forces of the Army work tirelessly to strengthen internal stability, while fully committing to protecting national sovereignty and national territorial integrity. In this regard, he indicated that “cohesion between the ANP and the people will remain a fundamental pillar of the defense of our homeland, and will lead to the creation of a strong and coherent society, capable of meeting the various challenges and to reflect the high sense of patriotism and belonging, while demonstrating that Algeria is invincible and will remain a unified country, with a united people who aspire to build a promising future for future generations. And to add that “Algeria, a safe and stable country, thanks to the vigilance of its people and its strong Army, has marked out the path of the right path and is heading towards a real take-off, and gives at each opportunity lessons of unity and cohesion, which strengthens its strength and consolidates its greatness,” he added.
“The noble missions of our National People’s Army, source of pride, impregnable shield of the nation, consisting of the detection of threats, the protection of land, naval and air borders, the fight against terrorism and organized crime, the defense of national sovereignty, and the guarantee of security and peace, across all regions of the country, did not prevent him from strengthening this close bond,” concluded Brahim Boughali. As a reminder, this Parliamentary Day was marked by the presentation of communications on several themes including “the historical context of the Army-Nation link”, the accomplishment by the military institution of its constitutional missions, in the light of cohesion with the Algerian people”, “the cohesion of the Algerian people with their Army, strengthening the process of the new Algeria”. A number of speakers were recognized on the occasion, and recommendations were made.
