L’Algérie prête à envoyer des hôpitaux de campagne à Ghaza

Algeria ready to send field hospitals to Gaza

Faced with Zionist aggression

The Palestinian people know that they can count on Algeria, people and leaders. In its struggle to free its land from Zionist occupation, the Palestinian resistance has always benefited from the active solidarity of Algeria, including when our country was itself under French colonial occupation. This constant in the international relations of the Algeria is confirmed by the declaration of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on the availability of our country to send field hospitals to Ghaza, against the backdrop of the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist entity against the defenseless Palestinian people. It was by visiting, on Monday, the stand of the Central Construction Establishment (ECC) under the Directorate of Military Manufacturing (DFM) of the Ministry of National Defense, during its inauguration of the 55th edition of the International Fair of ‘Algiers (FIA), that the President of the Republic affirmed Algeria’s determination “to build two, even three hospitals for the benefit of the Gaza Strip, as quickly as possible, with a view to helping the medical teams on site and allow them to treat the wounded, against the backdrop of the genocide perpetrated by the Zionist entity against the gang.
The representative of the Ministry of National Defense, for his part, indicated that the field hospital, whose construction could take 10 to 15 days, will include a room designed for surgery and sterilization, adding that the hospital will be equipped with all the latest medical equipment. This aid will be beneficial while waiting for efforts to put the destroyed hospitals in Gaza back into service. Because the most important thing is to rebuild the health service which had 36 main hospitals serving more than two million Ghazaouis. Few have remained functional, with severe limitations on the types of services they can provide, according to an estimate by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The most urgent thing is to stop the systematic dismantling of health care by the Zionist aggression on Ghaza, therefore to stop the genocidal action against the population of Ghaza that the Zionist entity is carrying out with the help of the United States and its NATO allies.
Yesterday, medical sources in the Gaza Strip warned of a real threat to the lives of a thousand dialysis patients, due to the serious shortage of medicines and medical supplies, Wafa news agency reported . The same sources explained that “due to the continuation of Zionist aggression, hospitals and health centers are suffering from a serious shortage of necessary medicines and medical supplies, to continue providing the medical care necessary to save the lives of patients and the injured. They called on international institutions “to intervene quickly and respond to the needs for medicines and medical supplies, to save the lives of patients and the injured.”
On Monday, the non-governmental organization Doctors Without Borders reported a serious shortage of essential medicines and medical equipment in the Gaza Strip, warning that it will be “forced to stop or reduce some of its activities.” The same source specified that “the closure of the Rafah border post with Egypt following the attack of the Zionist army on the south of the Gaza Strip on May 6, hindered the entry of humanitarian aid via the Karem Abou Salem border post. On the other hand, no less than 9 out of 10 children suffer from serious food poverty in the Gaza Strip, subject to genocidal Zionist aggression since last October, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) recently warned. . Last March, 45 Palestinian children and 6 injured Algerians as well as their companions arrived at the Boufarik air base, from Cairo airport, aboard two medical planes from the Algerian Air Force, for their care. at the level of military hospitals and Army circles in Algeria, in execution of President Tebboune’s initiative which aims to take care of 450 injured Palestinian children to benefit from care, following injuries and trauma due to the bombings barbaric Zionists who targeted Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
