l’ambassadeur d’Iran salue le rôle pivot de l’Algérie – Le Jeune Indépendant


The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Algeria, Mohammad Reza Babeei, praised the pivotal role of Algeria in the support of the right causes, stressing the importance given by Tehran to the strengthening of his important country of the Arab and African world.

During a visit to the headquarters of the newspaper of the Independent Young, at the Maison de la Press, on May 1 in Algiers on Wednesday afternoon, the ambassador spoke about the initiatives and commitments made by Algeria since its membership as a non-permanent member to the United Nations Security Council, in particular its “noble positions” with regard to the Israeli barbaric aggression of which the Palestinian people are victim.

The Iranian diplomat also praised “the positions taken by Algeria against the Israeli aggression having targeted the sovereignties of Lebanon, Iran and Syria, as well as his efforts, under the orientation of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, in order to resolve by diplomatic means and conflicts with which the international community is confronted”.

During his exchange of views with the director of the newspaper, Mr. Kamel Mansari, he also stressed the extreme importance that the leaders of Tehran attach to the promotion and development of bilateral relations between Algeria and Iran, as well as to the intensification of consultations on the issues that challenge the two brothers.

On this occasion, he praised the role played by the Algerian media in the defense of the Palestinian cause and the oppressed peoples, as well as in the warning against the dangers to which certain countries of the Arab and Islamic region are exposed, in particular Algeria and Iran.

Mr. Babaee said the Algerian media constitute a unique and respectful model.
