The Ministry of National Education has launched since yesterday Sunday, the National School Health Week, with the aim of strengthening health conscience among students and their parents, and anchor healthy behavior in schools.
The organization of the school health week, placed under the theme ” A school health for a healthy and safe future ”, coincides with the start of the school year 2025-2026 and will continue until September 25, specifies the press release from the Ministry of National Education.
This week aims to “strengthen health conscience among students and their parents, and to anchor healthy behavior, through awareness workshops and conferences, with the participation of the Ministry of Health and the contribution of the National Commission for the prevention and fight against cancer and the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA)”.
In this wake, the ministry said that school health constitutes “an essential pillar” to achieve better academic results and guarantee a strong and healthy generation.
