The National Commission for Social Works of Education Workers (CNOSTE) has started to prepare the operation of traveling or camping vacations for the benefit of the educational family. A financial contribution amounting to 50,000 DA will be paid to each family selected as part of this operation.

These families will have to choose the destination that suits them to spend days of rest and relaxation, after a long period of work. The president of the social works commission, Abdelkader Hamadouche, affirmed that the 50 wilaya committees have begun the process of preparing the launch of summer camps for the benefit of workers in the national education sector, stressing that the person concerned will benefit from “a financial contribution” of a maximum amount of 50,000 DA, provided that he pays the difference with the total price of the service granted to him or with the rental price.

In this regard, the first head of the CNOSTE stressed that the number of beneficiaries of the summer camps is controlled and determined by a draw given that the number of files submitted annually generally exceeds the quotas programmed for the benefit of each committee. of wilaya.

Mr. Hamadouche stressed that the use of the lottery system aims to achieve the principle of fairness and equal opportunities between all workers and employees, giving them the full right to benefit from this social service.

Furthermore, employees and retirees from the national education sector will benefit from 100% financial assistance for the reimbursement of the price of the hajj ticket, which they will receive on their return from the Holy Places, without any delay, given that the wilaya commissions received their budget for the year 2024 early.

According to Mr. Hamadouche, this will contribute, significantly, to the effective implementation of the various services on the ground, especially since no case of blockage or disagreement has been recorded at their level, which confirms , he added, that there is no fear about the interests of workers in the sector.

In this regard, the chairman of the commission indicated that in order to accelerate the granting of compensation for the price of the ticket, any pilgrim, once he has completed the hajj ritual and returned from the Holy Places, is required to contact the wilaya commission to which he belongs and submit a file consisting of a copy of the passport, a copy of the ticket and a copy of the entry and exit visa.

Mr. Hamadouche also stressed that all pilgrims without exception are affected by this financial assistance and that, therefore, no draw will be organized to select those concerned.

It is noteworthy that 5,400 people, including workers, retirees and widows of employees or retired officers, performed the Umrah ritual last year. The national commission provided them with financial assistance to amount of 50%, the beneficiaries having to pay the rest of the total value.

Workers and their dependents in the sector should also soon benefit from new bonuses and the revaluation of loan amounts. The National Commission for Social Work for Education Workers is considering, in fact, introducing new bonuses and revaluing the amounts of loans granted to workers in the sector, so that these bonuses and loans are in accordance with the authorities. purchasing of workers and employees in the sector.

The loan amount for the purchase of a car has thus been doubled from 50 to 100 million centimes. This possibility of reviewing the bonuses granted to the 800,000 education workers was studied by the CNOSTE during the work of the national general assembly, within the framework of improving the various social services.
