On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the War of Liberation, the General of the Army, Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army, inaugurated this Saturday new health infrastructures in the 1st Military Region. These achievements, including the Mixed Regional University Military Hospital of Blida and several specialized services at the Central Army Hospital of Ain Naadja, are part of the modernization of the military health system and aim to offer cutting-edge care to soldiers and their dependents. This was stated in a press release from the DND.
“On the occasion of the celebrations of the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious November Revolution, and in tribute to the courage of our valiant martyrs, we are determined to strengthen the capabilities of our valiant army. I am therefore happy to visit the First Military Region today and to inaugurate new health infrastructures, in particular the Mixed Regional University Military Hospital of Blida, as well as several medical services recently developed within the Army Central Hospital,” declared the Army General. And to continue: “On the occasion of this honorable national commemoration, we must be inspired by the sincerity and dedication of these courageous women and men who have shaped the glory and pride of Algeria, and to draw inspiration from them, as loyal Algerians, to elevate our work to the highest levels of perfection, professionalism and dedication.”
General Chanegriha then underlined that these achievements “testify to the unfailing determination which pushes the High Command to continue to adapt the military health system to the new requirements of the battle force and emerging health challenges. » He continued: “In this regard, it should be emphasized that what has been achieved on the ground in the military health sector, or what is being achieved, undoubtedly reflects the particular attention paid by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to the military health sector. These achievements are striking proof of the strong determination that drives us to achieve the objectives we have set for ourselves, particularly with regard to the continued adaptation of our military health system to new requirements and emerging health challenges.”
“We have also ensured that we provide the qualified human resources necessary for our health structures, capable of managing specialized medical services and operating modern medical equipment, whether general practitioners, specialists, surgeons, nurses or highly trained technicians, in order to ensure the highest levels of health care for staff and their dependents,” he concluded.
The Army General’s visit began at the Central Hospital of the Army in Ain Naadja, where he was welcomed by the Commander of the 1st Military Region, in the presence of Generals and Generals of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Staff of the ANP. He followed a detailed presentation of the new infrastructures, provided by the Central Director of Military Health Services, highlighting projects aimed at improving the performance of hospital establishments and the level of health services offered.
General Chanegriha then supervised the activation of two recently equipped medical services: the Hyperbaric Service, specialized in the treatment of hypertension by oxygen therapy, and the nuclear medicine service equipped with a PET-scan and PET-MRI unit, specialized in molecular imaging and allowing precise diagnosis of pathologies. These services, in compliance with international standards, offer high quality care to patients.
In Blida, the General inaugurated the Mixed Regional University Military Hospital, providing medical care for soldiers and civilians. He visited the various departments and learned about the reception capacity, the cutting-edge equipment and the qualified human resources supervising all medical and surgical services.
The ceremony concluded with the symbolic signing of the golden books by the General of the Army, officially marking the inauguration of these modern and strategic health infrastructures.
