“The National People’s Army (ANP) is strong and will continue to strengthen its capabilities”

Speaking during his meeting with notables from the town of Khenchela and representatives of civil society, the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid indicated that the People’s National Army (ANP) is strong and will continue to strengthen its capabilities. On this same subject, the President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune said that powerful countries are those which have a strong army and a strong economy.
Welcoming the solid domestic front of the Algerian people, the President of the Republic declared: “We must be strong on the inside to be strong on the outside.” Drawing on its experience, Algeria is the first country to defeat the barbaric terrorism which continues to plague the world. On this subject, several countries, including the great powers of the world, are approaching our country to benefit from Algeria’s experience in the fight against terrorism. In this area, Algeria has succeeded where several countries have failed and still cannot overcome this blind terrorism which continues to strike in the four corners of the world. The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune also did not fail to reiterate Algeria’s support for just causes throughout the world, at the head of which the Palestinian cause which he described as “the cause of all the Algerian people.
The President of the Republic Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune added, I quote: “The performance of Algerian diplomacy is honorable, and we must, therefore, be strong inside the country, because the consolidation of the internal front allows us to support just causes throughout the world, like Palestine and Western Sahara, considered the last colony in Africa, and for which the United Nations must reach a solution to allow the Sahrawi people to achieve self-determination,” declared the President of the Republic during his meeting with notables and representatives of civil society from the wilaya of Khenchela. In this regard, the President of the Republic stressed that the Palestinian cause was “the cause of all Algerians”, affirming that Palestine, “first of the two qiblas and third of the Holy Places”, figured among “the sacrosanct principles of the Algerian people. The President of the Republic also recalled that Algeria had launched an appeal to all freedom-loving men throughout the world to resort to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) to condemn the Zionist entity, affirming, by the same, that Algeria “will continue its efforts to defend the Palestinian cause”.
