Canada continues to massively send weapons to the Zionist occupier

Genocide in Ghaza

The Canadian Coalition “Arms Ban Now” revealed that Canadian weapons exports to the Zionist occupier continue to flock, in the midst of his Gaza Strip, despite the repeated assertions of Ottawa according to which he ceased to provide weapons to Tel Aviv.

The Canadian coalition, which includes political and civilian movements, explained in a report published on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 that it had used for the first time two new means to follow the exports of Canadian weapons and that it had been able to identify the details of hundreds of deliveries of Canada to the Zionist occupier since the start of the genocidal war against Gaza in October 2023 until last July. The report has shown that there is a systematic deception which hides a massive and continuous flow of Canadian weapons directly to the Zionist occupier, despite the declarations of senior Canadian officials who confirmed the suspension of arms deliveries to Tel Aviv, describing it as a constant set of lies, government’s obscure and fact confusion. Information was based on commercial navigation data from Canadian business documenting their direct shipments to Israel, as well as import data from the Israeli tax authority. It reports 47 cargoes of military components sent to Israeli armaments companies, according to detailed commercial data unveiled by Canadian companies and 421,070 balls sent to Israel since the start of the war against Gaza, including a cargo in April 2025 which alone includes 175,000 balls and 3 cartridge cargoes sent in Israel since a GD-DOTS installation in the city of Rabustine, in the Canadian province of Quebec, including a cargo sent after just a few days just after the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada at the time undertook to end the exports of ammunition from this company to the Israeli army. The report adds: “391 cargoes, including ammunition, military equipment, weapons parts, aircraft components and communication devices, were sent from Canada to Israel, according to data from the Israeli tax authority, which documents only part of total exports. About 100 international flights transported Canadian components to Israel, including 64 passenger flights during which military freight was loaded inside the plane under passenger seats to destinations such as Frankfurt, Paris, New York, Abu Dhabi and New Delhi. The Arms Ban Now Coalition, which includes movements such as Workers Against The Arms Trade, World Warless War and the Solidarity Network with Palestine, said that “the continuous sending of arms from Canada to Israel makes it a violence of national laws such as the law on export and import licenses, and international treatises and agreements such as the Treaty Contribute to the genocide and human rights violations in the Gaza Strip ”. The Coalition asked the Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, to use the Canada’s special economic measures law to urgently impose an arms embargo in Israel, revoke all export licenses, transfer weapons, their parts and components to Israel and immediately end all direct expeditions, also calling to end the indirect deliveries of arms in Israel. “The Minister of Defense and the Defense Supply Officer of Canada should cancel all the contracts and all planned for military equipment from Israel,” said the coalition. Since October 2023, the Zionist occupation has continued a war of extermination against the population of the Gaza Strip, which has so far led to the martyrdom of more than 60,000 Palestinians, the injury of around 146,000 and the displacement of almost all of the population of the Gaza Strip, in addition to a worsening of famine, in a context of similar destruction to that which occurred during the Second World War, Palestinians and internationals. Jihad Taha, spokesperson for the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), stressed that “the movement, in coordination with the factions of national action, is open to all initiatives and proposals which contribute to ending the global aggression, to carry out the complete withdrawal of the Zionist occupation army of the Gaza Strip, to rebuild the destruction left by the Palestinian house in order To strengthen the unity and firmness of the people, ”it is said. In an interview with QUDS Press on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Taha said that Hamas continues its political and humanitarian movements at all levels, through regional and international mediators and contacts, in order to end the Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and ensure the flow of help and humanitarian aid for our besieged people. He added: “We continue with great caution the negotiations in order to put an end to this aggression against our Palestinian people and to approach all the humanitarian, political, social and national aspects of our people in the Gaza Strip. The position of Hamas is in accordance with the positions of international human rights and humanitarian institutions, as well as calls from free peoples around the world to stop the war of famine and break the seat of Gaza ”. He called on the international community to take immediate measures to put an end to this open war against the basic needs of life in the Gaza Strip, and to open the passing points immediately and without condition, in order to provide help, medical and food aid, in accordance with the UN obligations and human rights institutions. Since October 7, 2023, the Zionist entity has led a genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, with the support of the United States, including murders, famines, destruction and trips. This genocide made some 60,034 martyrs and 145,870 injured, most of the children and women, more than 11,000 missing, in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced people, a famine that cost many children, as well as general destruction, it was said.
