Partnership Opportunities

The president of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council (CREA), Mr. Kamel Moula, examined with the president of the Mozambican Employers’ Union the opportunities to strengthen economic exchanges between Algeria and Mozambique, said a CREA press release on Thursday.
The meeting, which was held last Wednesday in Mozambique, in the presence of the Chairman and CEO of the company Sonatrach, Mr. Rachid Hachichi, is part of “the spirit of cooperation and partnership, with the aim of exploring opportunities for economic exchanges between the two countries”.
The discussions made it possible to “determine priority sectors in which the two countries can cooperate in a concrete and sustainable manner”.
For its part, the Mozambican side has expressed its great interest in benefiting from Algerian industrial expertise, particularly in the fields of energy, agricultural industries, infrastructure and professional training, the press release added.
It was also agreed to organize a major economic fair in the capital of Mozambique, Maputo, which will bring together the main economic players of the two countries.
This event will constitute a platform for exchange and partnership, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and opening new investment prospects between Algeria and Mozambique, specifies the same source.
On this occasion, CREA affirmed, in its press release, that “it will remain fully committed to this open African dynamic, and faithful to its mission of promoting Algerian expertise and highlighting the capabilities of national companies on the African scene.”
