The Superior Youth Council (CSJ) is organizing a ceremony at the Sidi-Abdellah university center (Algiers), on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Student Day, through a meeting bringing together the different components of the student community and of the country’s high authorities, a CSJ press release said the day before yesterday, Friday.
“On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of Student’s Day, celebrated on May 19, the CSJ is organizing a special ceremony, on May 17, 18 and 19, in collaboration with its partners and in coordination with the Ministry of Education. Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Mojahedin and Rights Holders,” the statement said.
“A meeting will be organized and will bring together the different components of the student community and the high authorities of the country with a view to promoting the vision of the new Algeria vis-à-vis the university and its involvement in the national building process. », added the same source.

It will be held at the Sidi-Abdellah university center in Mahelma (Algiers), under the slogan: “The Algerian student… from resistance and liberation to science and edification”, according to the same source.
“The celebrations of Student Day will take place this year in a different context which imposes the need to consolidate the achievements and results achieved in recent years and to affirm the era of the new Algeria which considers the “university as a locomotive in the construction of a strong economy”, affirmed the Council.
