The PLF 2026 debate will begin today

The Office of the National People’s Assembly (APN) decided on the program of sessions devoted to the debate on the Finance Bill (PLF) 2026, during a meeting chaired by the President of the Assembly, Brahim Boughali, indicates a press release from the legislative institution. The debate on the PLF 2026 will begin today, during a plenary session, during which the text will be presented by the Government representative, followed by the presentation of the preliminary report of the competent committee, then the interventions of the deputies, specifies the same source. The general debate will continue Monday and Tuesday, knowing that the afternoon session of the second day will be devoted to the interventions of the presidents of the parliamentary groups, as well as to the response of the Government representative, according to the same source. It was also decided to submit the PLF 2026 to a vote on Tuesday, November 18, while a session devoted to oral questions is scheduled for Thursday, November 20. At the same meeting, the APN Bureau examined the oral and written questions submitted to it, and decided to transmit to the Government those which meet the legal conditions, the press release concludes.
