AAPI CEO discusses ways to strengthen economic cooperation with Egyptian Ambassador

The Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, received, Monday in Algiers, the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdellatif Ellayeh, with whom he examined ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the two countries in the field of investment, indicates an AAPI press release.
This meeting, held at the AAPI headquarters in the presence of its executives, allowed the two parties to examine the possibilities of developing bilateral cooperation in the field of investment and to discuss preparations for the holding of business meetings and joint economic forums aimed at strengthening partnerships between Algerian and Egyptian companies, the press release specifies.
During the meeting, the two parties highlighted “the great opportunities for cooperation and partnership available, thanks to the potential and economic assets available to Algeria and Egypt in various sectors,” adds the same source.
On this occasion, the Egyptian ambassador expressed “the growing interest shown by Egyptian companies in investment in Algeria”, welcoming “the attractive business climate and the profound reforms characterizing the investment environment in Algeria”.
For his part, Mr. Rekkache affirmed that the AAPI “remains ready to provide Egyptian investors with the support and assistance necessary for the realization of their investment projects in Algeria,” concludes the press release.
