The president announces his resignation

,The president of USM El-Harrach, Sofiane Touahria, announced in a press release published Thursday evening his decision to leave the head of the club, estimating that “the current conditions no longer allow us to work peacefully”.
“After deep reflection and with full responsibility, I have decided to end my career at the head of the club. It is not an easy decision, but the atmosphere around the team no longer favors work that lives up to the history and prestige of the USMH,” he said.
The USMH remains on two defeats in a row, including the one conceded Tuesday at home against JS El-Biar (0-1), during the 6th day of the championship.
The defeat suffered the day before, on the ground of CR Témouchent (2-1), pushed coach Azzedine Aït Djoudi to throw in the towel. The name of former ES coach Ben Aknoun Mustapha Manaâ is expected to take over.
Touahria was keen to recall the efforts made since his arrival, affirming to have worked “with sincerity and dedication to ensure the stability and organization of the club”, stressing that the team “has experienced a period of real reconstruction and very encouraging results”.
And continued: “I would have liked to continue this mission, especially since the season had barely started with great ambition and a real desire to restore the Union to its natural place. Unfortunately, circumstances decided otherwise,” he regretted.
